Staff vacancies
We have vacancies from time to time and welcome interest from those keen to work at our school. If you’re interested in joining our team, please contact the school office to enquire about current opportunities.
For all teaching-related roles, we expect applicants to have relevant experience in education. Appointments are subject to satisfactory references and a minimum of GCSE-level qualifications. A Levels and/or a degree or other tertiary qualifications are desirable.
Michael Faraday is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. References for short listed candidates will be sought prior to interview and an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS will be completed on the successful applicant.
In line with recommendations in Keeping Safe In Education 2024, a basic internet search for all shortlisted candidates will take place. No decisions about hiring will be based solely on the personal information found in online searches and a candidate will always be given the opportunity to address any issues or concerns highlighted in the search during interview.
In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the expected provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) the school is responsible for holding and protecting personal data. The school is required to share some data with the Local Authority and the DfE. For further information on who we share data with, please see our Privacy Notices which you can find on our website.
