Clubs & Holiday Provision

Breakfast club:

We offer a breakfast club in the mornings from 8am. It is supervised by school staff in the school’s communal area and provides quality child care before school. The cost is £15, regardless of how many days your child attends.

If you are interested and wish to place your child’s name on the waiting list, please contact the office. Payment for the Breakfast Club must be made in advance.

After school provision:

We have an afterschool provider on site, who runs after school care for the children of Michael Faraday until 6pm. The cost is £45 a week.

If you need further information, please contact Natalie Thornhill at The Play Shelter, 07914 972 512 admin@theplayshelter.co.uk

Clubs & extra-curricular opportunities:

The school is very proud to offer a range of extra-curricular activities after school either operated by staff or in conjunction with outside companies.

Termly letters will be sent out with information about the opportunities on offer for that term. For more information about the current offer, please contact the school office.

Provision during the holiday

We are very fortunate to work very closely with the Burgess Sports Programmes, which is a multi-sports camp.  They offer opportunity for young people to take part in a wide range of activities ranging from football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, archery, nerf, rugby, multi-sports and many more sports during half break and holidays.  Due to funding they receive, they offer it to our children free of charge.  All the coaches are all qualified to deliver this. They also offer hot, healthy meals and snacks for all the children.

The next holiday camp is this half term and will be hosted at school - on the Michael Faraday site.

Dates: 14th Feb-18th Feb

Time: 9:30-3:00pm

Info: children are required to wear suitable clothing e.g trainers, sportswear and jackets when we are outside. They are also instructed to bring their own water bottles. As mentioned above we provide lunch, however any child with a food allergy should bring packed lunch.

To book for the programme parents will need to follow the link and select 'Michael Faraday' option for the free spaces
